Plant Foes - Handmade Journal

I'm so excited to share these handmade journals with you, which I slowly make in small batches with repurposed covers from antique books. Each one is unique, featuring different cover designs, stitch patterns, and materials.

This journal features a very fun cover from William Atherton Dupuy’s “Friends and Foes” nature series, in a great shade of green. The journal is sewn by hand with natural flax linen and bound with repurposed leather, and the covers are lined with a printed green marble paper.

Filled with 72 sheets (144 pages) of 80 lb Strathmore recycled drawing paper, hand-cut for a lightly deckled edge. It's a very nice weight, soft white, and acid free - perfect for writing, drawing, and possibly light watercolor washes. The flexible binding allows the book to open completely flat.

Measures 7 3/8” x 5 1/4”.

I hope you'll create something you can treasure!
