Goldenrod - Handmade Journal
I'm so excited to share these handmade journals with you, which I slowly make in small batches with repurposed covers from antique books. Each one is unique, featuring different cover designs, stitch patterns, and materials.
This journal features swirling tendrils of goldenrod, paired with gold embossed poppies and pods, bound with sturdy repurposed leather and sewn by hand with natural flax linen thread. The covers are lined with a beautiful, shimmery marbled paper.
Filled with 70 sheets (140 pages) of 80 lb Strathmore recycled drawing paper, hand-cut for a lightly deckled edge. It's a very nice weight, soft white, and acid free - perfect for writing, drawing, and possibly light watercolor washes. The flexible binding allows the book to open completely flat.
Measures 6 5/8” x 4”.
I hope you'll create something you can treasure!
